Itinerary

  • Arrival and Transfer
    • Arrive at Kochi International Airport/Railway Station. Transfer to Munnar (approx. 4 hours drive) en route, visit Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls, check-in at the hotel in Munnar and relax and unwind. Explore the local market or enjoy a leisurely evening at the hotel, stay at a hotel in Munnar.

  • After Breakfast
    • Visit the Eravikulam National Park (closed in February and March due to calving season) to see the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Visit the Tea Museum and learn about the history and process of tea production. Visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Lake.
      • Optional: Enjoy boating at Mattupetty Dam.
      • Visit Top Station (if time permits).  Return to the hotel. Evening at leisure. Stay at a hotel in Munnar.

  • After Breakfast
    • Check-out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady (approx. 3 hours drive). Check-in at the hotel in Thekkady, visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.
      • Optional: Enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake to spot wildlife.
      • Explore the local spice market. Optional: Attend a cultural performance (Kathakali dance or Kalaripayattu martial arts show). Overnight Stay at a hotel in Thekkady.

Check-out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey (approx. 4 hours drive). Check-in to the houseboat in Alleppey.

  • Houseboat Cruise
    • Enjoy a day cruise through the backwaters of Alleppey.
    • Lunch and tea/coffee snacks will be served on board.
      • In the evening anchor at a safe location in the backwaters for an overnight stay.
      • Dinner on the houseboat and overnight stay also on the houseboat in Alleppey.

Enjoy breakfast on the houseboat, check-out from the houseboat and transfer to Kochi International Airport for departure.
